I believe the roots of Iones Apothecary were planted long before I was born. My passion and deep reverence for the forest and earth are generous gifts passed down from my ancestors. Whether it be a yellow butterfly dancing over the ocean or a beautiful bluebird crossing my path, I am reminded that am being encouraged and loved by my team. I would like to give heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all who came before me, in their struggles and strife, laughter and joy, I am here because of them. 

Over time, I have come to understand that the plants and trees are our greatest teachers. 

I graduated from the Oregon School for Herbal Studies in 1996 and later expanded my knowledge through Jeanne Rose's aromatherapy program. I have been practicing herbalism ever since, crafting remedies and creations for myself, my family and my community. I create from what the forest and plants offer, and what is being asked of me. What I cannot gather or grow myself, I source from responsible, reputable and trusted suppliers.

My journey has taken me through forests, across oceans, over prairies, and into the mountains. In each place, I have grounded myself in the healing gifts the Earth so generously provides. The forests of Santa Fe, in particular, have been my greatest classroom. I cherish the practice of giving new life to fallen branches and trees, shaping them into something meaningful to share with others.
